Our Printers

First blog post

We’re working hard to set up the project!

Our Graphic Designer, Andi has been working overtime recently to produce our eye-catching posters and promotional materials for our first series of free, family art workshops. These will be taking place at The Highfields Centre and 125 Rally House, Leicester. You can find out more information about the workshops and how to join in (here). Once the posters and flyers were ready to print, Project Manager Liz sent off the final designs to our chosen printers, the planet friendly, carbon neutral company PRINT.WORK – Not only do they use 100% recycled paper and inks with no animal products, they also use a courier who is committed to making every delivery carbon neutral. Today, our marketing materials were delivered in a fully electric vehicle. We did, of course, put the waste packaging materials into our recycling bin. We have also limited the amount of printed material we are producing and focussed more upon sharing our content and advertising online (although we are fully aware this has its own environmental impact too.)

It is crucial to us as an organisation that our impact upon the planet is minimal. We’re trying to help fight for climate action. So we’re doing everything we can to ensure that our carbon footprint is as small as possible, whilst at the same time having the largest impact we can on our local community, encouraging others to consider their own impact on our great Earth.

If you have any thoughts or tips on how we can do it even better, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
