A Celebration Of Biodiversity - Closing Poster

A Celebration of Biodiversity Closing Party

A Celebration of Biodiversity is coming to a close on the 15th April, and we’re going out with a bang!

Our closing party is a celebration of the success of the exhibition and the project in its entirety. We’re going to enjoy the evening in style with a delightful array of musical treats presented by Pingdiscs.

The party starts at 4pm at The Barley Mow and the music will run until 11pm. It’s a chance to see the wonderful ‘wonky jazz’ by local quintet NFQ, acoustic music and visual projections by Honest Dave, along with DJ’s and musical talent from near and far.

Not to mention, this will be your last opportunity to view and purchase unique, biodiversity themed works of art. Prices for unframed prints start as low as £5 and there is something to suit everyone’s budget.

There will also be a drawing and colouring area and we hope to get everyone dancing too.

The Barley Mow assure us that the bar will be well stocked with soft drinks and alcoholic drinks too. If you have children, we welcome you to bring them along until 8pm.

So, if you are looking for something to do on the 15/04/23 then The Barley Mow, (149 Granby Street, Leicester, LE1 6FE) is the place to visit.

You’ll be greeted by friendly faces and smiles, you can meet the artists exhibiting their work and you could even discuss climate action with the Insecta Collective team, if you so wish!

Saturday will also be your only chance to see the artwork made by participants in the workshops we ran over the last two weeks. We’ve had loads of creative fun, we hope you can come and share our joy and bid farewell to our much loved biodiversity arts project A Celebration of Biodiversity.
